01
Discovery
SCOPE · Stakeholders · GAPS
Spoiler… Steps 1, 2, and 6 are my favourite parts. Before anything gets made, as a curious soul, I dive deep and unravel what's actually going on — what the brand says, what the audience hears, and where those two things struggle to connect. That gap in the story is where the real work starts.
02
Align Scope
Positioning · STRATEGY · Direction
Most brands don't have a pretty problem — they have a positioning problem. Starting from what the audience actually needs, I define how the brand connects from the outside in, what it stands for, and what it needs to say. So the creative team has something real to build from, not just a ‘make this pretty’ vibe.
03
Define Workflow
Systems · Templates · Delegate
Good creative at scale requires infrastructure — and a clear path to build from. I build the systems — the guidelines, the component libraries, the templates — that turn any team into creative superheroes, producing more, faster, while staying true to the core.
04
Build
Design · Content · Campaigns
This is where strategy comes to life. I direct, produce, and manage across every touchpoint — campaigns, digital, retail, print — hands-on when it's needed, directing always, and dodging all the 'make it pop's along the way. Either way, I'm accountable for the outcome.
05
Test & Launch
DATA · PERFORMANCE · REFINEMENT
Once it's live, I want to know if it's working. I track performance, read the data, and smooth out any snags — curse it, grab a coffee, and head back to the drawing board, or pop the bubbly. Creative instinct and analytical thinking belong in the same room.
06
Grow
Scale · expansion · New Opportunities
This is where the magic happens. I never run out of ideas — whether it's a micro move, a powerplay, or a new opportunity to untangle. The best creative systems don't just sustain a brand, they set it up for whatever comes next. And… there's always a next.
